Eric Gordon scored 9 points in final 5:22 of 4th Q, then 6 more in first 4:50 of first OT (incl. game-tying 3), so 15 points in 10:12 span

Addition by subtraction.

And I am by no means a negapellie. I love this team and will support them through thick and thin, but this guy needs to go, and Pierre needs to stay.

Free up the dollars and find someone who wants to be here. Look at Ryno. That guy is a fricking pro's pro. He does his job and keeps at it. EGKnee is rarely satisfied and when called on in the clutch, he fricking shits the bed. For every "big shot" someone can point to, I can name an incident of sandy vag. He doesn't wanna be here. Oblige and get something of value. frick, give those minutes to Baby Rivers and let's see if he develops.

This team has the DNA to be a good one, but we need to get rid of the pieces that don't want to be a part of it.

Whenever I see Eric Gordon I see a voucher good for one (1) Luol Deng.

He had some pretty costly turnovers when trying to do too much by himself too though. Im not anti EG, but I'd still love to see him improve tremendously for the amount of money he makes.

So a 24 year old averaging 16 a game who should only improve while being locked up for 2 more years or an expiring Luol Deng. So when he doesn't re-sign, what's the plan?

I asked you this in another thread. These trade ideas are so fricking dumb, it's comical.

With EG's injuries, sure he was sour for a while. There was no talent around him and he was injured, frustrating for any young player.

Now it appears he's healthy and happy playing alongside his boys Jrue and Reke. He's 24 years old, can score the ball and play defense. He might not average 20 a game like he did with the Clips and that's ok because this team has talent.

I think Deng is a fine player but he's why in the frick would we give up Eric for an expiring? Who the hell are you going to sign? Deng is not taking this team any further than EG will this year. Plus, Tyreke has been perfect coming off the bench.

Seriously, tell me what you plan on doing with the money Deng occupies. Resign him at 29 to a long term deal?

ETA - one more note. We need to accept the fact that EG is one introverted dude. When he hit those big shots against Cleveland and Reke went to chest bump him, he just laughs. It doesn't mean he's unhappy.

I wasn't able to watch and his %'s need to improve but without him hitting those shots, we lose. I just find it funny that after Golden State, there were many comments like "Typical EG" but it's quiet when he has a huge hand in winning a game.

He wouldn't have needed to hit those shots if he didn't frick up the 2 previous possessions. Jrue sent the game into OT and hit the game winner and distrafted the D to give EG that shot. He didn't win the game.

yeah because Ryno was such a whiny douche on a team with little to no talent, and a "star player" who bitched and moaned.

If Deng is who we acquire, so be it. Take that expiring, free up the dollars, and find players who work in our system and who want to be here. I would rather watch Reke busting his arse, Ryno playing team basketball, and Jrue wearing himself out, than that crying bag of douche

you just got promised you wouldn't have to get up and move by an organization that drafted you. they swore to you that you're staying. You have a house there, family, livelihood, friends, etc. You also have a big city, potential endorsements, tons of fans, and a pretty good young PF to partner with and the hopes of getting CP3 makes you guys almost contenders.

24 hours later, you just got news that you got shipped to the new orleans hornets with not even a single player that is young and upcoming, a bunch of old scrubs, and a rebuilding project. They have no owner, their fan base is minimal because the city is smaller and its a football city, and the organization you trusted backstabbed you. You have to move, buy a new house (or rent), sell your old house (probably), and probably move family as well. Makes matters worse, the fanbase calls for your head because you got injured.

I'd be fricking pissed off/sad too.

couple years later, you've got two of your good friends playing along side you with a young budding superstar that might be better than your old PF, and now you're finally healthy.

you're happy

that's pretty much his story. ain't one douche aspect about it.
