I would think he could do better. They probably need to run a crazy offense like he will to win though. Hopefully he's successful wherever so he can come home to Aggieland whenever we need him

While I'm sure Morris' name will pop up when coaching vacancies arise in next week, I doubt that he is in "serious discussions" at all with Wake Forest. Even if Clemson is losing a lot of talent, I'm sure whatever is left behind is probably better than what's at Wake.

I think he'd be better off long term taking over for June Jones (who needs to be fired) at SMU than going to Wake.

He can, but I am not sure why. He consistently fails to put up points against quality defenses (see SCAR the past 3 years and FSU). However he can put up 50 against inferior talent regularly. I think he knows he needs to stay in ACC or PAC where he is not facing top notch defenses. He is grossly overrated IMO. The teams he puts up points on he just out talents. I think Wake would be good for him, but he can probably do better, I just don't see why.

That's probably what he's angling for honestly. But Wake isn't that bad. Their expectations are complete shite so he'll get time to build. I sort of like it so that he can get 3 years or so college HC experience before he replaces Sumlin. Honestly either of those gigs would be fine prep work.

Watson has already signed a financial aid package w/ Clemson to enroll in Jan. I'm not sure if it's binding, but I hope he sees the light that Chad is the only one that knows how to run the offense at Clemson.

This is the first year he hasn't torched FSU. He put up points every year on VT, scored on LSU and was fine against UGA. I think he gets too pass-happy, but he's a damn good OC. I think he'll be a better Head Coach than an OC personally.
He has shite the bed each year against South Carolina, though
