If Auburn goes all the way and wins a NC, LSU was the only team that beat them this year

Just saying, if they win the NC, LSU has that distinction of being the only team to out-play them this season. Auburn has something special going on, and if LSU can lay claim to the only team to hand them a loss, that looks really good of LSU's part.

Yeah, cause everyone just gushes when they hear talk of the Ole Miss team that defeated Florida in 2008.

Most importantly, their success this season will provide some amount of parity to the state of Alabama in recruiting etc. which everyone else in the SEC sorely needs!

To be honest I think Mizzou Spanks AU pretty good. Two Td's at least. AU in for a huge letdown.

That can also be said of the 2011 BCS champion; and yet, that gives me no solace. Expect the same reaction.

This thread's obviously not going the way you'd hoped.

Yes, I believe Kentucky and Arkansas actually hung banners in their respective stadiums celebrating their wins over LSU in 2007.

That's exactly what Ron Zook said in 2003...
