First of all, this select/nonselect stuff sucks like we all know and has now created 9 championship games next weekend in the superdome.
Im trying to go see the Uhigh/Curtis game (Geaux Cubs) at 4pm on Thursday, if im able to get off work.

Does anyone know if they serve beer during the games?
I wouldnt think so, but it is the Superdome/NOLA.

How does everyone see this game going? Should be one of the better ones.

No beer, I went to see Rummel play last year and was disappointed to find out there was none. Must be a LHSAA rule.

Not unless you are in a suite.

Well i noticed suite tickets are only $25 bucks. Might be worth it. Or just sneak the stuff in.

1. The split sucks, (been yelling about it all year)

2. The UHigh/Curtis game is gonna be one for the books.

I might want to see this one in person

Imagine how many more title games they are going to want to make if Byrd wins the game that was meant for the Catholic League State Championship.

the split does suck...

Curtis' closest in class game has been 33 points, they beat Evangel by 34 and it could have been 54.

I hope the game is close, JC poses some pretty tall matchup problems for U. Throw in the fact JT will have 11 days to prepare, and he and his staff have been in this situation many many times and the other staff has not.

and then there is depth.

I hope it is close, championship games are supposed to be...

U will have to keep 7 vertical, and stop Curtis.
Healthy QB and 15 gives JC offense something quite frankly they haven't had before.

To show a contrast - How many kids starting on offense or defense for PBS do you think would start for Curtis this year?

Curtis has lost 2 games this year... that puts a whole lot of fire in patriot bellies...

You must have been at a different game than I was, refs favored Holy Cross. Also the Byrd interception not being called a touchback was a joke.

University has the athletes to compete with Curtis THIS year, the question is do they have the discipline and depth?

I think it'll be close, but as the game goes on and kids start getting tired, they tend to start missing assignments and that's when Curtis starts to pull away.

38-17 Curtis

I hope I'm wrong

Not sure what you're getting at. Every Catholic League school voted against the split.
