Stolen from archerytalk.com:

Whole lot of badass in here

So some these twisted geniuses are combining broadheads to make some absolute nasty heads. If it didn't cost so much I would probably experiment a little myself.

My favorite:

"rage digger" (1/2 rage; 1/2 grave digger)

Anyone here done any experimenting like this?

I have two concerns with most of those. First, I know I don't have the energy for the ones made to cut wider. Second, adding a lead planing blade seems to defeat the main purpose of an expandable.

Are they shooting at the neck on purpose?

I'm guessing that's the exit wound on a quartering away shot

That's an impressive hole, but it was probably from an angle. On sharp quartering shots I've seen fixed blades (which obviously leave smaller wound channels) leave an entrance hole you could stick your fist in.

That pic for size is complete BS. The can is way closer than the deer to the camera. Dudes hand is as big as the neck in that pic.

The ones that really make no sense are the ones with the added blade in the same plane as the expanding blades

I've followed the thread. It's pretty cool, I just don't see the point in shooting what amounts to a $30 broadhead when the gain in performance is minimal at best.

This hole is as big as the top pic you posted and it was made with a 1 1/8 fixed blade and a broadside shot.

Several of the frankenheads in that thread are like that, but I give them credit for creativity.
