I think the kid has had LSU deep down in his heart the whole time. Big fan of the DBU persona, and good friends with Tony Brown and Ed Paris.

Now that we have turned up the heat the past few weeks, and UF is struggling, its a perfect storm.

He is a badass too, perfect for our system

He plays tough, fast, and quick.

People might laugh, but when I saw his tape, he reminded me of a bigger Tyrann Matheiu.

I saw Tyrann running basic drills in the summer of 2012 with the rest of the DBs and he was by far the quickest player of the bunch. He made everyone else look slow.

I thought the same thing watching Jamal Adams do his thing on tape.

I would love to have this guy.

you should get your hopes up

we've got a better shot at Adams than we ever did with Jones (I don't have info, that's just my feeling)

Yeah he looks extremely fast on film. Dude is a flyer. I hope he comes here because that'd be a HUGE get.

I like him more than Hootie as a 2-way safety.

Take it FWIW but From what i've heard around, Jamal Adams was really eager to get in on the LSU recruitment and start a relationship with coaches a long time ago and got a little sour when the coaches wanted to take it much slower. Now the full court press is on him.

Im not saying that to mean he wont come to LSU but rather that he really liked LSU. it doesn't look like there was any major relationship damage and it doesn't hurt that he's great friends with Ed Paris and Tony Brown

Hope you're right and agree with the poster above you. Adams is a better overall S and fit for our scheme than Jones. I still have serious doubts we get Adams but it is trending our way.

getting Adams would make me forget about Jones real quick. That would make 3 safeties in this class which is all we need anyway. Battle, Paris and Adams would be a great class at the safety position.

I know that I don't have many posts and that some of you look at post count to determine validity, but beardkp is absolutely right. At one point in time, we led for Jamal Adams. Something happened that left a bad taste in his mouth...all he would say is that LSU did him wrong. If I had to guess, the staff wasn't in as frequent contact wit him as other top targets; but now that it appears that the full court press is on, I fully expect Adams to be wearing purple and gold next year

My goodness, Paris and Adams, Tony and Adoree. That is one sick arse secondary haul just with those four alone. Three run sub 4.4s, three are very physical, and all are extremely athletic.

Said it a while back, but I wanted both but rather Adams over Hootie if I had to pick.
