We all knew how this day would go, its no surprise. I guess I would just like one of these high-profile selections to go our way. I know we get tons of guys that Bama wants also but seems like all the majorly-hyped announcements go the other way. (except Randle was really exciting)

Group hug anyone?

I am more disappointed by the fact that kids that are not coming on board are the LA kids.

I could have understood CG or TB but we are losing LA kids. And that is the head scratcher.

Yes it hurts and it hurts more so because we are losing them to Alabama. But I will say this, if a kid does not want to play for LSU then see ya don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

I want the Andolsek's and Rodrigue's that bleed purple and gold.

I'm not, I actually think we have better players that we're recruiting. I honestly think the coaches are not that upset. If we get Adams, Paris, Brown, and all the kids from New Orleans, Hootie will be forgotten before he ever gets to Alabama. We're an elite program, an losing a couple players out of Louisiana, no matter how good they are in High school will not hurt us.

I agree with your post except for this part. It does hurt LSU - do you think the secondary this year would have been better with Landon Collins? Do you think having a dominant left tackle such as CRob would help the offensive production. LSU will still get good players, but losing these guys does hurt.

Lesson to be learned in this. LSU needs to reaffirm it's commitment to North Louisiana imo. Put much better recruiters up there otherwise Alabama will take over

I'm encouraged by how accurate information about how these recruits are leaning seems to be. It makes me think the people saying all the guys that are "LSU locks" are indeed going to commit to LSU.
