You might get to see him take every snap.

Somehow I feel like that won't be a problem. He'll likely get 4 quarters of significant playing time. Les won't ever say how bad Mett's knee is, and I seriously doubt that he'll put Mett's future in jeopardy by playing him. With a month of practice Jennings should be ready to take over the offense by bowl time.

I think we will be in good shape here with Jennings and Rettig both going through spring ball and getting Cam time this past year, and super frosh Brandon Harris coming in. We will be far more athletic at the position with all of these guys, and Cam's tutelage should help reduce the experience factor.

I've heard, and agreed with, this since the opener against TCU

This would have never happened had Mett not been injured. Had Mett not been injured, we most probably would have lost the game. I saw a sack happening in one of the last plays.

boom

I like the kid

really excited about next years team

The D will be improved and I now trust CC over any other coach on staff. I think LSU has a top-notch offense as long as he's around

Well deserved. Everybody will talk about the TD pass to Dural, but his best play was the throw to Gordon on the 2nd play of the drive. It was remarkable to see a guy who has had no meaningful playing time this year have the wherewithal to avoid the rush, step up in the pocket (in his own endzone no less) and deliver a strike to a crossing TE for a 1st down.

Obviously it's WAY too early to know what kind of player he will be at LSU. However, he looks like a pass-first QB who just happens to have the ability to run as, as opposed to a mobile QB who might be inconsistent throwing the ball. He may not have the arm-strength of ZM, but in very limited action he looks like he's got great touch and good accuracy which to me are much more important qualities to have for a successful QB. Here's to hoping he becomes a big-time QB at LSU

Doesn't he share this freshman of the week with a player from Miss? Thought I heard that on the news.
