Who picks first Cotton or Outback?

If Cotton picks first do they not take a 2 loss South Carolina over a 3 loss LSU? Especially since we began the season in Jerry world.
Honestly am not that excited about playing Baylor. They will be sky high and our guys will play soft, looking forward to the NFL combine. Baylor and Briles will hang 70 on this defense and we will loose 70-14

basically pick at the same time
cotton has choice from west division
outback has choice from east division
if cap one selects south carolina, then SECCG loser goes to cotton because of "safety net" rule....look it up on here or on google before asking me about it

There's no way we lose to Baylor 70-14.
Also (and I'm not just picking on you), why do so many people use the word "loose" when they mean "lose"? I just started noticing that about 10 years ago. I've seen it a lot on this Board over the last few days. I assume it is just an error and not some sort of term of art that I don't appreciate.

Same reason so many people put "dominate" instead of "dominant"

yes
its actually a little more confusing this year than past years
but
normally
the cotton and outback pick at the same time, but the cotton must pick from the west and outback from the east. If either wants to pick from the other division they must allow the other bowl to pick first.
but apparently this year the cotton made a contract with the SEC that if the BCS and Cap one pass on the loser of the SEC championship they must take them. Which would hopefully push us to the outback but could push us to the chicken.

If we can run the ball and play keep away, they won't get enough possessions for 70.
But yes, I see the potential to light up the LSU secondary.
