Pretty sure Petersen's content at Boise, doesn't want to be in the lime light. Interested to see how Franklin would do at USC after the job he's done at Vandy.

Agreed, Kellen Moore certainly helped Petersen become a hot commodity.

Petersen's probably going to be the next college head coach to make the jump to the NFL. It makes a lot of sense if you think about it. He doesn't want to leave for another college job but at the same time, he's really maxed out at Boise. The NFL would be the best destination for him.

The rumors I've read are that Petersen is the guy that Haden is going all out for. Rumors are that they've met already, USC has offered him twice and he declined twice. They upped it for a final time and want an answer by mid-week. If he says no, then Franklin is the guy.
Of course I remember going through all of this with the UW coaching search 5 years ago. There were tons of rumors and then Sarkisian was announced the coach and I don't think his name was brought up once during the search.

People need to remember that anything coming out of Boise may not do well at other places.
