Although Bama definitely has groups who would try their darndest to get them into the big game, the rest of the nation simply doesn't want to see Bama play in it again and that is also a big reason why they simply wont make it this year.

If there is a possible way for Bama to get a mulligan and back themselves in to the NC game again they will find it. They lost the last 2 years at HOME in November and still got in. The voters love Bama so nothing will surprise me.
