ULM pulled off the upset over ULL because the secret coalition of Louisiana and LSU wouldn't let ULL's PA announcer refer to ULL as Louisiana, in order to keep the "hoax" ULM from being butthurt.
Sounds confusing, but there's a thread about it on the ULL board.

we lost in a good game. field goal kicker had a rough night but, we are not gonna give him death threats.
have to beat south al. next week and we will win the conference for the first time in school's history. pretty exciting times.

Is UL guarunteed a share of conference title with a win or loss?

They are but if they lose even though they beat Arkansas State they would be co champs because the Sunbelt doesn't have a tiebreaker
