Will voters give the nod to a team that got beat by a mediocre LSU squad(pretty bad too) over a team that almost got beat by a couple mediocre teams but still went undefeated and has been since 2011?

I guess if they absolutely blow out their opponent in teh SECCG?

It's a common sense verse tradition debate.

Depends largely on the media. Twitter is already blowing up with the Auburn campaign.

IMO, OSU is a much better team (I saw both play IRL this year FWIW)

Just don't see AU or Mizzou getting in over OSU.

Still can't believe how terribly Saban coached that game.

FSU should have no problem at this point....unless they send JW to jail.

LSU is only a 3 loss team and beat TAMU. Lost to UGA, Bama, and Ole Miss. Only bad loss was vs Ole Miss. And LSU still is a top 20 team.

Auburn lost early on in the season to make up the points, and just beat the #1 ranked Alabama team. And if they win the SECCG vs Mizzou or Carolina, it will be over a top 10. They are getting the big wins late in the season, making up for their loss. And the winner of the SECCG has a lot of clout.

OSU hasnt beat anybody worth a damn, and almost lost to Michigan. And still have to play Mich St, who will be there toughest opponent so far, but they lost to ND.

It will be extremely close.

Auburn beats number 1 Alabama, beats multiple SEC elites. OSU beats up on terrible teams, and gives up 603 yards to a Michigan offense that is the worst in history.

It would be a crime if OSU doesn't get jumped.

Stop bringing up last year. It doesn't matter.

Auburn has to play top 5 Mizzu in SEC to jump them. They would have wins over 1 and 4/5 in back to back weeks. Loss was to #7 at the time LSU. They will have 5 top 25 wins. OSU will have 3 with possibly 1 over a top 10 team Mich State.

I don't think the voters will allow an OSU team that hasn't lost in almost two years but if Missouri wins today an Auburn blows them out, Auburn would have as good of a case as any with back to back top 5 wins.

I agree 100%..I think it's OSU unless Auburn destroys Mizzou/USC, which is completely possible

yup. i just don't think it will be enough. if ohio state was bad, they wouldn't win 25 games in a row, regardless of the state of the big ten.
