we need to figure out a way to penalize the shite out of teams for this blatant cheating

i'd say marking the injuries as (1)serious and (2) non-serious would work.

a non-serious injury requires faster response with a time limit to get the player off the field

a serious injury gives you plenty of time to work on the player, but he has to sit out a full quarter if he suffers a serious injury

that's probably the best way to stop teams from this blatant cheating

serious injury should be rest of half, but this is reserved for guys needing a cart

I'm fine with them making a guy sit out the rest of a possession if the staff has to come out

Can't tell someone they aren't hurt, or how hurt they are. If they feel like they can't walk ( BS or truth) you can't tell them to rise and walk off the field.

The sit out rest of possession does sound like a good idea though.

First time I've heard this suggestion. I like it.

i don't know if this is enough, but it would be a start. the game is completely set up to allow teams to cheat. that's not right

That's probably the most you can realistically do.

Theres no way to stop it because theres no way to tell whats a "serious injury" and whats not. Its really not that big of a deal honestly

I don't see any way that they could categorize every injury that quickly.

There should just be a general rule that if a player goes down with an injury, he has to miss a minimum number of plays. Something like 4.

that's fine. they can't play until the same time in the next quarter

serious injury would be those that stop the game for several minutes, but I don't think teams are faking that

This. Sometimes you suffer a hard enough collision where your nerves go numb and you can't feel a certain joint, and psychologically you freak out about it before with you settle down given time.

this offense is within the rules

faking injuries is not

don't get mad that coaches got aggressive on offense and changed the paradigm to make defenses work harder

I just think there should be 10 seconds to let teams sub players after every play

But you don't have to let them play anymore at all if they were that 'injured' - I agree with the OP.

There should be something to prevent a previously injured player from returning to the action.

You guys are being ridiculous. Theres are things that happen on the field that feel very scary to the player but still end up being nothing. You cant punish everyone for being hurt

If you're a good enough team, your opponents being injured wont effect your rhythm. If it does, that is a weakness.

Make a rule that the team can only sub for the injured player.
