best vests?

My under armour storm vest is the shite. Great for layering when it's damn cold or just wearing over a long sleeve at work or play on the days when it ain't that bad.

I have a camo vest from drake and I have to agree with this. I just can't wear mine with much other than hunting.

I bought a UA storm vest before my elk trip in Colorado. I wore a UA base layer, an insulated pullover, regular shirt and the vest only the whole time I was there. I never put on a coat once. We had temps into the teens at nights and in the am. Best $100 I believe I've spent in a long time. I wear it to all the games on Friday nights and hunting at home.

I'm sure the Drake will do just as well. The question is which one will hold up longer.

Love my drake. Hunt with it every time for past two seasons and has held up well. Love the chest pockets...one a magnet, the other a zipper. The elastic waist is also a plus.

I have a Patagonia Adze that's really nice. I can wear it with just about anything.




Drake makes a good one that looks good and is well made. There are some bastards out there that wear those things religiously.

Got a nice North Face vest. Does the trick.

I'm in the market for a vest. Which one of the Drake vests do you guys own. I think they have 3 different models to choose from.

I am also considering the Carhartt vest. Which one do you guys own?

I want to make sure the vest I buy will block the wind.

Anything but under armour. You dont want to look like parish trash.
