I hear nothing but superlatives about Brandon Harris concerning his mobility and arm-strength. His YouTube videos (from his junior year) show him as a man among boys, but he seems pretty slim right now.

What are Tiger fan expectations about the quarterback position for next season?

Jennings or Harris?

If Miles were smart, he would redshirt Brandon Harris so that he could be the starter his junior and senior year once Jennings leaves.

Ppl are way to crazy about Harris. He's nowhere near ready to be starting qb of a MAJOR player for an NC. 3 years? He'll be unreal...he's 180 soaking wet right now and not as accurate.

I expect Jennings to be the starter.

That said, Harris will give him a run for his $$$. And isnt Harris an EE??

Jennings will be the starter. But Harris is going to be really good too.

Yea hes light. So is RR... And actually Harris is around 190. Jennings was only 200 coming into LSU.

Has there ever been a better QB than Jennings in LSU history? We all know the answer to that one. Harris will look good holding a clip board.

Harris needs a year or two. Get the accuracy issue down pat.

Jennings will start, Rivers backs him up. Rettig the RS FR. Harris redshirts

I'm not saying he's ready....geezis. I've heard that he has an incredible arm and is very mobile. people I've spoken to talk in superlatives, as if he is a 4-year starter. have you seen him play?

Are you serious?

In an SEC West "rivalry" game, he leads the team 99 yards down the field for the game winning TD.

But yeah, I'm sure the incoming freshman has the edge on him

read, man...I'm asking if anyone has seen harris throw the ball and run.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Jennings' throw, but the playcall won the game. Dural was wide open, as the DBs were keyed on Landry. Jennings watched Dural the entire play.

You're about 6 months late. Harris has progressed big time and will compete right away.

And it was awesome. But thats the only legit PT hes got.

The sample size is so small for Jennings right now. What he did vs Arky was AMAZING. Im not taking anything away from him in that. But im not going to sit here and crown him as the greatest thing since sliced bread yet.

I expect Jennings to be the starter. But I also expect Brandon Harris to turn some heads when he gets here. Hes that good.

And yea Harris isnt a huge QB. Hes about 190lbs right now. But RR was "too light" to be effective for us at CB this year. Wrong. Hell Jennings is only around 200lbs. And does it really matter how much a QB weighs?? Thats probably the only position, outside of K and P, where you dont have to be a certain size.

I've seen video of him from last year, and he was very slim-looking, but he was considerable taller than the NW Louisiana defensive players.

6 months? I witnessed him play a game last night. Made a few great throws I expect an sec player to make, also missed some terrible passes. No way you can look at what Jennings did vs Arkansas and Harris did vs Zachary high school and say "Harris will push him."

Not close, not even remotely close. Like it shouldn't even be discussed. It's not a knock to Harris, 98% of true Frosh qb's aren't ready. Even Manziel and Winston got redshirted. But Harris looked tall and skinny, he would get hurt in the sec. Several ppl around me even said "that skinny kid is going to lsu?" I love him, but he won't sniff the field
