My greatest memory of him so far was him growing up in the Bama game 2012. Kid stood there getting hit in the mouth and delivering perfect passes. That's why I refer to him as "MY" quarterback

Think about his being booted from UGA by his mother's boss, going from the SEC to small town USA doing the JC circuit, to his first year being isolated on the sideline. He is a man's man, and literally left his heart and soul on the field of his adopted school. He personified what a college football should be, and his skills and leadership will be missed. Mett, you are one bad hombre and I'll miss seeing you sling the rock.

Mett is a warrior. Willing to stand and deliver those fast balls knowing that he is unable to get away from these sec monsters. Going to the ground broken and getting backup to repeat for this team and game we pay to watch.

Dude was a breath of fresh air at QB.....something we hadn't had in several years at that position.
