Something's happened when a high profile coach wants to come to NOLA (basketball). This is the team that has no fans, no money, and is about to relocate every year.

It's George Karl not Phil Jackson. He's about as high profile as Mike Fratello.

He's reigning coach of the year and has made the playoffs in 22 out of 23 seasons (excluding the two early seasons ~20 years ago where he was fired early in the season). You don't think that would be an upgrade over Monty? We aren't getting Phil Jackson.

He's 7th all time in wins and 10th in winning percentage.

I'd say that's pretty high profile.
