Luck finally turned my way

After the season starting off with 2 missed bow shots and one hit with no recovery and my daughter shooting one with a .243 we never found, things finally turned around with a double kill for my son and I the other evening.
I have been telling him to hunt a particular stand for the past few weeks but he didn't want to so Wednesday evening he went to a stand and I went to the one I had been telling him about. I took a nice doe at about 5:00. He texted me and was po'd he didn't go there and wanted me to come get him so he could help with my deer. I convinced him to stay put and then heard him shoot 10 min later as he put a nice little 6 point down for a dirt nap!
Love those double kill days!

Not a bad little caliber, but you just assume get a kid a 7mm-08. Doesn't kick much more and is a nice caliber with decent ballistics.
