By no means am I defending Monty in this thread but just wanted to discuss Montys selection to coach on Team USA. Clearly this must mean he is will respected around the league to receive such a honor. I'm sure NBA guys know a little more than we do. And if they deem him to be one of the best young coaches in the league then shouldn't we as fans take a look at that and tell ourselves to be a little more patient seeing that this team has a lot of new guys?

Just a thought...discuss

Coaching is about more than just what happens when after the jumpball and before 0:00. He is great at maximizing talent and working with people in practice. That is where he's valued. Coach K certainly doesn't want him for his brilliant rotations.
