This buck was shot by the guy that leases my 40 acres in the piney woods of MS.

He has a bigger one on camera.

I'm gonna have to raise the lease price!

He shot him all in the corn.

Yeah, I saw the corn too!
I charged him $800 for the 40 acres, Perry county near Janice/McLain. He says he spent almost $5000. Dozer, stands, corn and bran. I'm sure he was100 yards from the corn, right?

I listed the land last summer for $600 thinking that was high. this guy offered an extra $200 because so many people called and i was about to show it to three others. He wanted it off the market sight unseen.
He worked for that deer. Food plots, fixed a forest service road after a clear it they did, feeder filling every week.
When I hunted there I never worked the land like he has.

One would think he would at least have moved it out of the corn pile to take a picture

I hunt Perry county several times a year. Lots of good deer there if you can stay clear of my kin folk running dogs.

I used all my buck tags in Arkansas. Would it be unethical to go " check on the place" and kill the one with stickers and split brows? Lol!

Dog hunters in Perry: I've hunted with the Albairs, and met some named Moody and Bolton.
Good people, and I love a good race!

Creel and Carter are all my kin, they've been running every day since Saturday. I might make a run or two before the weekend is over, but I'm more likely to be still huntin somewhere down 29.
