From what I saw tyreke and jrue were playing their heart out. Jrue was taking more shots then I've ever seen which is what I like. I like to see a guy want to shoot the ball unlike morrow who is supposedly a sharpshooter but doesn't shoot the rock with more determination. I'm not an expert so take it easy on me.

Youth was the reason for that loss. Thats a veteran team that made mistakes but didnt make as many as we did. We were trying to catch up in the second instead of eating away their lead. They rushed everything, passes, shots, steal attempts, everything.

Yes, we shot terrible last night. But, we were down 30 last night bc of our defense. Look at this picture. It's like we think the ball is a fricking bomb with our players running away from it.

Ryno was just running to the sixth Spur who was just off the screen.

Our defense was horrible last night. Spurs offense was clicking, and far too often they were wide open.

They both got 9 rebounds. I don't know if I should be impressed or horrified.

Our problem is that we have no offensive identity whatsoever. Our spacing on the offensive side of the ball is also horrible. Monty runs the same high pick and roll or pick and pop plays all game long. Against good offensive teams this will be magnified b/c our defense won't be able to overcome our shortcomings offensively. Spurs proved this last night and Golden State will do the same tonight.

This may sound nuts, but I was hoping to face a healty GSW team. I really want to see how off this team is against different teams, and I want them to have that tape.

I agree with the spacing. The team is getting better on offense, so I'm trying to keep an open mind.

How many of those were failed attempts at tip-ins?

I didn't get to watch the game but both had 4 offensive rebounds so it's possible they were playing Aminuball. Still, Davis had 6 boards and Smith had 7. Guards leading you in rebounds is like your safety leading you in tackles, it's rarely a good thing.

Be glad. Evans and Holiday had some of the ugliest attempts you'll see in the NBA.

If it happens here and there, it is understandable, but when it becomes a consistent issue where a bunch of games it is happening than it is a systemic issue.

I think the lack of a true offensive scheme that works and plays to the strengths of the players is the main issue and that falls entirely on coaching.

Same thing with the horrible team defense this team plays. Monty simply is a horrible head coach and couldn't coach an offense if his life depended on it.

His success in year one had a lot more to do with an offensive system already in place with CP3 and the others that it hid what a mediocre coach he was.

Now you are seeing the roots of his flaws as a coach. He's simply not ready to coach a team that isn't organized for him in advance. It will be the downfall of this team's post-season hopes.
