While Jennings may have the upperhand, I highly doubt that his name at the top of the 2014 depth chart is set in stone with spring and summer practices still to come.

It's going to be an all out war between Jennings, Rettig, Harris and even Rivers.

Should get interesting.

That a potential JJ/JL situation arises because no one quarterback separates himself from the pack.

It needs to be wide-open, but I hope it gets shutdown by the end of the Spring.

I know Les will probably not announce the "starter" before Wisconsin if he can avoid it, but I don't want a time-share, and I want a starter getting the first team reps in Fall practice.

It's not like we have Cam Cameron developing them or anything.

Well AJ apparently separated himself from Rivers already this year.

You have to fig that which ever QB comes out in top will be a stud. I just wished with a freaking 3 loss season the back QB would have maybe threw a few passes. Hopefully we blow the doors off the pigs and they get some time. That's what worries me.

It's hard for me to tell how the staff feels about the QB situation. No doubt that Jennings was No. 2 this year, but that might have something to do with how they expected to use the back up (i.e., primarily in short yardage and goal line situations). I just don't know if Jennings would have been the every down QB if Mett got injured. Maybe, maybe not. Anyway, it seems like a different analysis for next year.

I'll be pulling for the best guy. The staff will have some talented guys to try to develop. It seems like we'll have more viable QB options than we will have had in a long time.

I think we have better talent and are developing faster behind Mett and under Cam.
I'm would say I'm excited.

That's what scares me. At best, we will be going on the road for an opener against Wisconsin with a starting quarterback that has completed less than 5 passes in a game (Jennings, Rivers) and at worst, we will be going in with a guy who has yet to even step on a field in game action (Rettig, Harris).

How many snaps did Winston for FSU take before this season?

If the talents there it CAN happen. I believe Jennings has it. We will see though. Should make for an interesting spring.

It can, doesn't mean it's always the case, let alone the majority outcome.

we should be a predominant running team next year with Magee, Fournette and Jennings and no real go-to recievers.
