.22LR Barrel Life Question

What does the OB think the barrel life would be on a .22LR rifle barrel using lead vs. copper plated bullets? (In terms of round count life)
In general, what is the typical barrel life on a .22LR before significant accuracy decrease is noticed?

I've never seen a non accurate 22, regardless of round count.

I would think it would take a helluva lot of rounds. I've shot tons through my old Marlin model 60 that I've had for 30 years and it's still a tack driver.

I couldn't put a number on it, but I don't think you would wear a .22 barrel out in a lifetime.

From what I've read- a long fricking time. Don't think copper or lead makes much difference.

A crap load of rounds. I've got a Winchester Model 74, last production year was '55. There's no telling how many thousands of rounds it has shot, and it's still pretty damn accurate.

I have quite a few .22 rifles and only one seems to be "not as accurate" as it should be. It is an old Noble pump action and seems to spray the lead around a bit.

Unless you got 50k rounds through it you're good.
