Read that he was on crutches and wearing a boot. He happens to be my ONLY RB, rest are Donald brown, Lamar Miller and Rashad Jennings, so appreciate any update on this.

His effort has almost locked me for playoffs unless SF DST scores 35, which in my league is possible but not probable.

Did Ball get anymore carries after the fumble? Wonder if Moreno misses time if Hillman or Ball get the touches.

I gotta believe this is just for precautionary reasons. To immobilize the injury and let the swelling go down faster.

Moreno went back into the game after sustaining the injury.

Ball was benched for his fumbles. CJ Anderson took over after Moreno left the game.

So would he be the guy to target? Obviously most of KMs participation is because of his pass protection.

No I'd think Ball would be the guy. Ball was already the goalline back the past few weeks.

I agree Ball would still be the one to target. Anderson didn't look great and had a fumble himself in overtime. Ball is the better back and Denver realizes it. If Moreno misses any time, Ball will be the feature back.

If Moreno misses time

I can afford him missing 1 week, probably even 2 but not more than that.

Hopefully it won't come to that....

I'm already without Rodgers, and I need to win this week to secure a playoff spot. My other rb to replace him is Ridley. If Moreno misses this week, I will be forced to play Shorts

ESPN's Adam Schefter stated on NFL Insiders Monday that the Broncos view Knowshon Moreno's ankle injury as "not serious."

Schefter admitted details remain scant, but the injury is not viewed as serious. Whether that means he's day to day, week to week, or might miss one game and then return for Week 14 remains to be seen. We don't expect another concrete update before Wednesday's practice. Montee Ball should be owned in all leagues, and intriguing UDFA C.J. Anderson is worth stashing as well.

Hope you dealt him away before the deadline. Was just a matter of time before his body started breaking down.

Where are you getting that?

Per Rotoworld.

quote:

The Denver Post reports Knowshon Moreno is dealing with a "significant bone bruise" in his lower right leg.

Beat writer Mike Klis calls Moreno "questionable at best" to face Kansas City in Week 13. Although the injury is considered "not serious" by NFL standards -- he isn't going to miss the rest of the season, obviously -- it appears to be a week-to-week ordeal Moreno may not be able to play through. Should Moreno miss one game, the Broncos would likely turn to Montee Ball as their lead back with C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman rotating in behind him. Coach Jack Del Rio did leave the door open Monday for Moreno to resume practicing by week's end. Time will tell whether that's mere coachspeak.
