Do you think it's funny that refs feel the need to explain a no call to crowds?

I thought illegal man downfield was a possibility, I don't know the specifics of that at all though.


They wouldn't have to had it not been for not explaining a crucial call then non call against the pats last week. They made te right call but fricked up not explaining it so now they have to explain everything

It's their own fault

They're not just explaining it to the crowd. Probably mostly doing it for the players/coaches.

Off-setting personal fouls are the most time wasting calls. Why call that?

Coaches deserve explanations. Fans like to know what is going on.

Caught in tried to challenge a play earlier but I think he just wanted an explanation from the ref

i assume it's for guys in the booths moreso than fans. also, only have to say it once for coaches/players on both sidelines.
