What is the coaches expectations of new players?

With the exception of guys like LF who will step in and play immediately, what is the expectation for most recruits. Is that they get some playing time their soph. year and start their junior and senior. Maybe the question is what are coaches satisfied with? That they get two really good playing years out of a player? Just curious what is considered a success as far as playing?

Mental and Physical aspects are evaluated. Mental is probably the toughest, as there's a lot to learn, and so many situations that these kids are put in. It just takes time, and then there's the physical opponent that takes some time to adjust from High School to the SEC...Play early and your special...

Defensively lining up other players correctly seems to be the skill that is most valued.
