Be extremely careful what you're posting concerning recruits,there are many opposing teams fans lurking here for ammo to use against LSU's recruiting efforts,one in particular.Talking to the father of a kid being recruited by both LSU and Bama he mentioned a lot of negative recruiting from Bama towards LSU and referenced this board.BTW,kid is all LSU.

I never understood why someone would say anything negative about a recruit, or recruit's family who LSU is recruiting. Just let the process play out and then state your opinion once the decision is made.

Tell that parent this board allows a bunch of things that BOL does not....you learn who to take seriously and who not to.
Their are a bunch of alters on certain boards and NOT true reps of LSU fans
Best advice is to tell the negative recruiting that they don't care about what a message board says about my kid

The problem with that is we don't know who is on here. Is it a 60 year old or is it an 8 year old? Is it our own fans bashing players and recruits or is it opposing teams fans posing as LSU fans that are bashing players and recruits? I would like to think that recruits and their families are smarter than to hinge their sons future on what is being said on a damn message board anyway. I know that if my son is gifted enough to play for the tigers I wouldn't care what any of you sacks of shite said on here

and on and on and on for all sorts of fan bases across the country.
The reply to the thread is "duh" because several people on here try to tell this to people over and over again but people don't think it really matters or that it really goes on.
People question or showing concern about recruits and if they are any good is not terrible but when someone is blatantly disrespectful of a high school kid - keep a close eye on that person.
and on and on and on for all sorts of fan bases across the country.

Its quite cowardly.
Im glad yall arent part of the "anything to win" crowd. Ethics and class mean something. I would caution these recruits. If a school has to sell you not on its own merit, but by degrading anothers, what does that say about their character?
If you struggle, will they talk shite behind your back?
Also, recruits would benefit in understanding that most top tier teams have similar fan bases specifically in the south.
There are always gonna be the white trash fans that bandwagon, show no class, and have no real skin in the game.
This site is more lax with the rules, and anyone can sign up and place lsu under their name to talk shite. This shows extreme insecurity if the other fan bases have to come over here posing as lsu fans to make us look bad.
Follow your hearts, and play where you feel at home. You will be here for three years minimum, so feeling happy, safe, and comfortable goes a long way...

There is nothing in Alabama to do other than watch football, drink, or watch nascar garbage. That is why they impersonate LSU fans on here. Their lives are dependent on Alabama football and they will do whatever it takes to get an edge on LSU's Louisiana recruits. Pathetic
