That Jimmy G. was not considered by "someone" (missed this part) to be one of the top 100 players in the NFL? Let's discuss, can you really name 100 better players?

He was not in the NFL Top 100 last year. That's what they were referencing. And no, I can't name 100 players better than him. It was discussed here at the time the list came out.

haters gonna hate. I'd hate him too if I was a defensive player and he made me his bitch.

He's so much stronger now than when he came in the league. 200+lbs linebackers still have to sit down with all their weight to take him down, by that time he's dragged you for 5-10 yards.

Maybe so but I still think even last year he was top 100. Was this something voted on by the players?

Laughable selections:
Ed Reed at 18
Trent Richardson at 71
Aaron Hernandez at 77

Oh and apparently 8 TEs are better than Jimmy Graham

players prolly have less comprehensive knowledge of other players than many posters here. Their focus is on doing their jobs. Yes, they some direct knowledge from experience but it is easy for any player to have never played at all against another. So, their voting is more just on rep and locker room talk. I have found a similar phenomenon that many musicians know very little about other musicians. They're consumed with what they do not what others are doing at all.

NFL Network really should stop wasting everyone's time with that garbage. I wouldn't be surprised if Tebow was on it.

Same reason ex-players are often stupid analysts compared to smart well-researched bloggers and beat writers. And to a lesser extent why so few star players make good coaches

I guess that's why the Texans couldn't resist giving him that big contract- they read the same list! Ed Reed was so terrible this year, he should give his salary to charity.
