What is it?

11 games into the season and I'm not sure what his role on the team is. 6th man? Energy guy? Scorer? Defender?

Not bashing him or anything. I like his talent and like the signing. I just don't see what Monty is using him for and was wondering if the PT bretheren could shed some light on this.

Role, and his role isn't really decided yet. You're right to be confused

I don't understand the question. He comes off the bench and scores.

It looks like now that Ryno is back he is going to be our 7th man/first guard off the bench.

His biggest skill so far looks to be his driving to the basket, although his shot is getting better. So it seems he'll be getting used as a leader of the reserves and a quick spark off the bench for now.

I want him driving more than shooting. Over the last 4 games he's averaging 5.5 FT attempts in about 27 MPG. That's picking up .20 FTs per minute. For comparison LeBron is currently averaging .215 FTs per minute.

FIFY

I'm actually disappointed in his play. I thought he'd be much better than what he's been showing.

He's been impressive in his last 4 games. If he plays like that the rest of the year, this team will win a lot of games

1.7 TO/game

First 4 games, he had 10 total. Last 6, he's had 7 total.

The last 4 games, he's been about what was expected of him

14.5 ppg, 2.3 spg, 4.3 apg, 3.5 rpg

FT% will need to improve but he's shot right at 78% every year since he's been in the league

Yeah. Since getting over his injury he's gotten pretty close to the 15/5/5 guy he needs to be.

which is pretty damn great off the bench.

If Morrow continues shooting at his pace around 50+% and we get some decent post play with our second unit, we could be really deadly

Don't you love when people watch a couple of games an make remarks that are inaccurate?

Tyreke is getting it going as of late. He's been what I have expected. The "eg" role of driving in the lane and will dish it or make the lay up and draw contact. Not a great shooter, but we don't need him to be. We have ryno and morrow for that.

His role is to attack the basket and find our shooters. Play defense and run.
