I'm sure we'll have a couple of terrible videos on the scoreboard too, asking us to use proper language.
It'll be tough to figure out if we're at a football game or a kindergarten birthday party.

As an alum, this whole thing is embarrassing. The profane chant (STTDB) is in such poor taste. For the school and head coach to have to get involved to this extent reflects poorly on those students who insist on showing off their middle-school-esque immaturity.

My biggest concern with this chant is that it lacks imagination and contemplative thought, not that it's profane. It reminds me of the kindergarten kid that just learned that "pee pee" is a bad word and goes around saying it while giggling and thinking it's funny. It's just stupid.

although it is extremely juvenile and is very low-level humor, I do understand that college kids will be college kids, so I don't have a big problem with what they do. Plus it is a good lesson for them to have the songs taken away, actions have consequences. However, Hootie and his mom are going to be there, and I reaaaalllly want her to have a great time...so STFUWSTTDB

Exactly. Maybe, MAYBE, it would be overlooked if the chant were remotely clever or funny, but they're not. I really is just like an 8 year old saying a "bad" word and all of his friends giggling.
I'm not naive enough to think that their won't be a few explitives that fly in the stand here and there. It's a football game and people are emotionally invested. However, the group chants are really just stupid
