woah woah woah... tell me you don't think Manziel is going top 10. There's another "JF" right?

Why can I not be bummed by something simple this isn't a meltdown thread. Front 7 played with such intensity and I didn't see it from a lot of players. I completely understand why but I can't help if that bums me out while watching it

Falcons always play us tough. They played a good game against us. Drew was a little off tonight. We also just played a physical game against the niners this past Sunday, where brees almost lost his head. It was a good defensive effort and win.

meh, the Saints shutout the Falcons in the second half...

got a bunch of QB sacks...

not one for style points myself... I think we got their best shot.

Did y'all really think we would just whip their arse? This is one of the reasons I can't stand Thursday night Football.

you don't get the best football out of either team.

the secondary allowed the front 7 to really get after the passer by locking down the WRs. It's always a team effort when you're getting sacks.

they scored 1 TD tonight, for heaven's sake

Objective criticism is not allowed here. 99% of the people in this thread were thinking the same thing as Fox but now the Saints win it's BEST TEAM EVAH -- FIDDY BERGER ON DA SEACHICKENS!!!

But as I understand it from the threads, we were out-coached and lacked intensity. Apparently, we lucked out.

i mean Corey White had a bad game, but he's about the only one i can really pinpoint. Lewis locked up White. Tony G was rather quiet. And Douglas didn't really do anything until the last drive or 2.

Yep, they picked on him. But I still think he's going to work out fine.

Ok, I'm not disappointed by any result on the field. I saw players in the secondary and particularly the receiving corps that looked disinterested. I am elated and had fun watching the game, but I think we miss Jabari a lot

This juxtaposed the dlineman jumping up and down and getting pumped when they made big plays. Hicks was really setting the tone

Offense struggled both games we lost or didn't have Sproles. I sense a pattern.

And we did that on offense without our best lineman

I don't think they struggled, I think they're just exhausted. Our receivers literally walked through this one, but we whipped them at the line and Pierre, JC and jimmytron came to play

Utterly and completely subjective and a matter of projection. No reliable evidence to support that observation.

You were drinking too much and rocking the whiskey and pizza.

During this brutal stretch, I'm not the least bit concerned with style points. I'll take W's any way they come.

Other than "shoulda, woulda, coulda" and "playoffs?", the best Jim Mora quote was as an analyst a couple of years ago when someone was bitching about a Saints win that was "ugly". He said, "You do know, right, that it's really hard to win an NFL game." Simple but makes the point.

Receivers had a few drops
Probably a total of 100 yards between all receivers
