I know there is another thread for the playoffs, but I think the bi-regional and regional rounds deserve their own thread for better reading.

Ill pick over. Acadiana has passed the ball about 8 times a game and ponchatoula will have to throw it a few times. Acadiana's run defense is pretty stout.

Scotlandville is pretty damn good and their RB is a stud. I picked them to beat Rummel in my bracket.

North Webster shocks #2 seed Caldwell.

I've been told WM had a great week of practice, very focused. We'll see if that continues tomorrow night. Rain favors WM, but the turf will keep everyone clean. It gets SLICK though.

Been doubting Hahnville all year, gave away 3 games this season and were 5-5 instead of 8-2. Finally have everyone healthy so it should be a good game.

Weird fact: in 2003 barbe traveled to hahnville for second round and lost after beating south lafourche. It is second round 10 years later and they meet again. And who did the bucs beat last week.......................South Lafourche!

Might be an omen.

Division 4 .. Vermilion Catholic vs Central Catholic @ VC ... worries me. We played CC tight and finally pulled ahead and CC isn't as bad as their record. They had many injuries and most came back prior to our first meeting.

Go Eagles ... << crossing my fingers >>

WM's starting qb is out, and they had to move a starting LB to qb.. Hopefully Central can outscore WM, or at least keep it close. Pulling for the wildcats in this one.

Parkview Baptist has knocked Notre Dame out the playoffs the last 3 years, including that rout in the Dome last year. ND will come out looking for revenge. I've seen ND play a couple times this year, their QB is much improved from last year. I've seen PBS play as well, they have a stout OL and some speed in the backfield. Solid defense too. This game will be old fashioned, pound the rock football. I'll take PBS over ND in a low scoring defensive slugfest.

That would be a big loss for Central for him not to be playing
