I just don't think it's reasonable or worth the effort to make predictions at this point in the season. I just enjoy watching the games.

I don't think so. It's possible, but I don't think any of my friends are Rockets fans. The only person I could maybe see being a Rockets fan seems way more self-aware than you do, unless you really like taking selfies.

Portland handed the Spurs their only loss of the season.

It's a long season and they are very dependent on Aldridge and Lillard. Playing 38 MPG will wear on you.

Yea portlands coach is awesome though. Pretty much does everything we'd wish Monty would do with a pretty similar team

Portland looks exactly the same. They'll burn out in the second half of the year from exhaustion

I know McCollum got injured, but if the bench is so much improved, how come Lillard has a slightly higher usage rate and Aldridge has a significantly higher usage rate vs. last season? And that's an increased usage while Wesley Matthews and Batum are playing more efficiently than their averages from last year say they should be. On top of that RoLo has his best rebounding percentage since his 2nd year in the league, which was before he had the injury that reduced his athleticism. I haven't gotten to actually watch them yet, but the numbers sure make it seem like this isn't sustainable. They obviously are in the drivers seat for a playoff spot right now, but I still think they are as likely as anyone to tail off over time.

This guy was getting as much criticism as any coach in the league last year for having no clue what he was doing. The whole fanbase was calling for him to be fired. Add a little talent to the roster and suddenly he's awesome

He's out 10 weeks or so which will really put a damper on memphis

The only real scoring options they have left are Z-bo and maybe conley.

That's not enough imo

Looks like Gasol has the same MCL sprain Stiemsma has. Stiemsma's out 6-8 weeks. Hate to see anybody get hurt but we need to take advantage of the time he's out

Lol guessing the"whole fan base" consists of 4 fans?

Anyway last season Portland had the worst bench in the league and possibly over the last decade. Really only guy from that bench playing minutes this season is Joel Freeland and he is much improved. RoLo has been awesome at C, much better than expected. If i was at a computer I'd continue talking about how much better we are this season. I'll leave you with this though: I can see us stealing a top 4 seed.
