Why should you have to choose between the Xbox One and PS4 this holiday season, outside of financial and retail availability reasons? You don’t have to choose, and if you want you can even have them on and use them at the same time through a single HDMI output to your television.
Microsoft jokingly suggested a few months ago that it would be possible to play the PS4 through the Xbox One. There’s not a technical reason that it shouldn’t work, after all. The Xbox One’s HDMI passthrough was designed so you could connect your cable box and pass that through to the television. Of course, the benefit there for Microsoft is that the Xbox One is always on, always ready for you to use, and always aware of how your use your television. If you’d rather your next generation consoles only take up one HDMI port on your television set, however, it requires no work at all.

what would happen if you had 10 xb1 and conjoined them all via hdmi then powered them on all at once???

Black hole? Would it create a real nexus? A time portal? Portal into the fifth dimension?
