I caught up recently as well. I hope it picks up, because it is borderline bad these last couple of episodes. I found myself laughing at it several times. But I am sticking with it, if for nothing else than to see how things turn out.
It was really bugging me that there is basically no penalty in this show. If you die, no big deal, you'll just be reanimated and brought back to life. That's happened at least three times with main characters, not including several others (and the zombies too). I guess my main gripe is that it sort of feels like things aren't going anywhere.

To be fair the creator did say before the season started that S3 would have a lighter feel with humorous moments. Which I guess is a bit odd considering it's called AHS
