I'm in Denver for a conference. I'm wearing all LSU, of course. I've lost count of how many folks have stopped to yell "GO Tigers!" - both in the conference and on the street in Denver. We (LSU attendees) all have purple & gold scarves on, and several people have stopped to ask where they can get one - and among those I've stopped to talk to, most of them aren't from Louisiana and aren't LSU graduates. They're just fans of TIgah football! - And the whole time, I've yet to see a single Bammer fan or hear anyone utter the phrase that starts with "R" and ends with "E". There are several SEC schools with exhibits, but no bammers.

Go Tigahs!

They may have been band wagoners when they got on - but a true band wagoner would have jumped by now, don't you think? shite, judging by the level of nega-tiger (-guilty-) I see sometimes from native Tiger fans, I think we know the answer to that one.

You haven't looked hard enough if you haven't found LSU alums and true fans in Denver. We have a strong alumni chapter in the city that is very active. I don't know what your conference is about or why you're wearing school colors, but if you're interested, check out:

www.LSUDenver.com

That will put you in touch with the locals, if you're interested.

I was just there for the Broncos game. Plenty of Tiger and Saints fans.

I have seen plenty of LSU alums. I'm just saying there's a huge contingent of non-LSU alum that are also Tigah fans as well.

Great city! Tonight is the first time I've seen snow fall from the sky since I lived in Flagstaff a decade ago.

I had to drive up to Boulder today in the snow. It was 14 degrees when I left home, 12 degrees when I got to Boulder, and it's 12 degrees right now!

Welcome to Colorado!

Your observations are spot on. I have lived in Boulder for 18 years. I have taken at least 10 different friends down to a game and they have tiger fans every since. I think there a few factors that influence the LSU love. 1) Anyone who skis knows that Louisiana invades rockies during mardi gras -- there are mardi gras parties at all of the bars and mardi gras beads over most of the trees near the lifts. 2) Denver is a football crazy town, they appreciate great football and we all know the Buffs have sucked for a really long time and 3)Doug Kershaw is a rock star up here with long Louisana roots.

Flying down tomorrow for the A&M game with ski jacket and rain coat in tow.

The Flatirons in Boulder looked incredible today all covered in snow.

I've been here going on 28 years and it never gets old!
