What's up with these north LA bears running into the hwy?

Hwy 167 just north of Winfield

I'd have taken more pics, but I was being cautious in case one ran in front of me.

I've seen em up here too recently. I think LDWF has contracted out the removal of all the bears. I saw a truck with some black guys riding on the side stopping and picking up all the dead bears and chunking them in their truck. The carnage was appalling, to say the least.

Did they leave a foot on each one?

How can people consciously kill these graceful creatures. I swear I have seen at least a dozen dead bears on the side of the interstate this month. I mean we have those Save the La Black bear license plates and all. Do ya'll think anyone with that plate hit one

This is getting ridiculous. I'm going to put a brush guard on my truck.

They have been feeding on beer cans lately.

Apparently so. Obviously if I was driving through there that bear would be dead and my vehicle would be destroyed. I don't see it. I never could spot Waldo either.
