Rate the PS4

To everyone who got a working PS4, how do you like it so far? I'm really enjoying mine so far. The UI is smooth and the system is lightning fast. The graphics are good but none of the games have utilized the systems full potential yet. I just feel lucky to not get a broken one.

I like it. Random complaint but you can't turn the controller of while using Netflix without it pausing. So you have to turn it right back on.

I noticed that last night while watching the avengers on Netflix. That light is way brighter than it needs to be. It's also a little annoying while playing a game bc it reflects off the tv. But honestly not that big of a deal.

how do you turn off the controller independently of the system?
also, the whole menu change is taking a while to get used to
i dont notice the alerts when friends get on like i used to on ps3, i dont even know if it does alert you actually

I really like it so far. A few kinks, but nothing that can't really be fixed down the road.

Hold the PS button.
Go to Adjust Devices
Select Turn Off Device

The same way as ps3.
It's small complaint but overall I'm pretty happy. I used the internet on it yesterday and it worked well. Wish it was able to view certain documents but you can only ask for so much lol

I guess I don't sit close enough to my TV, and I have a matte screen but I haven't seen the light on my tv

Thus, it's not on your TV, you'd have to have it tilted up at a big angle to project it onto your TV, or have your TV on the floor.

I haven't had any issues either. My set is done where my TV is just above the height where I sit though.
