If Ego and Freak leave early, we are totally screwed. Any talk about getting a JUCO guy?

Because they have been setting the world on fire this year...

and to answer, no JUCO. We have a ton of talent there.

I understand that they haven't set world on fire but none of the young guys must have been even close to being ready to play this year. With very little depth, we didn't play any of them except Lacouture who didn't do much. If they couldn't even sniff the field this year, what makes you think they will be dominant next year??

Expect Lacouture to make a jump next year. Remember this guy is a true fresman, guy is gonna be a monster.

We'll be much better with A MLB, even if we lose both Ego and Freak. DT's stunk it up against decent competition, much like last year. The difference last year was a good MLB. D will be better next year.

Believe it or not Johnson is predicted to go high in the 2nd round. I looked it up! I could not beleave it. What are the pro scouts seeing in him? He's gone!

And if the new recruits were any good they would have played we are desperate. They must be pretty bad not to play on this
D line!

IMO, it's not for a lack of raw talent. We're simply not developing their skills. Detillier noted in DandyDon that Freak doesn't know how to use his hands. I find that disturbing. A 3rd yea player who still doesn't know the basics of DL play.

This is what what said when anybody, myself included, questioned how we could fill the roles off the players that left especially d line and safety. You should know by now not web everybody is as good as the last. Only thing we got going for us is it's been pretty bad this year. How much worse can it get

Hopefully in the off season these young guys will work hard and get stronger and develop some good techniques. But like was previously stated our MLB spot will be upgraded next season which will go a long way towards improving our defense.

We are not getting top notch recruits!!
Only Miami wanted Bain ! I know scout and rivals had a list of teams offering . But not really .

Miles is not a good recruiter. He simply got lucky with some underrated players .

He's been signing a lot of players top notch teams don't want
And this year Bama will get most of the 5 stars!

They have got 2 already which is a major defeat considering they were in state 5 star kids

Miles needs to go

I see no need to refute any of this as it is so obviously and horribly idiotic. But thanks for the chuckle.

Idiotic?

The proof is in the pudding !
The only decent team we beat this year was auburn!
That's it!

If we played Auburn today they would beat us!
Their coach is getting 150% out of his players.
Miles needs to go!
Charlie Strong unfortunately will be hired by Florida .

After we go 7-5 next year hopefully miles will get fired!
I don't want to go 7-5 but that is what's going to happen
We have qb with no experience thanks to miles

Mills still starts in base over Robinson, Welter still plays period, Loston is a lost puppy, Barrow is just as lost. You idiots can think we have nobody behind every single position, but I refuse to believe we have worse behind this crap.

Because a defense with majority true freshmen sounds awesome.

May bode well for the future. I'd sure hope there is better talent than many of the guys getting most of the playing time. If not, it's going to be a rough couple seasons coming up.

Just no leadership with this bunch, and they actually seem to bet getting worse. I sure wouldn't mind seeing guys like Beckwith get some more PT.
