Which Xbox for Xmas?

Is the Xbox One that much better than the 360? I have to admit I don't know much about gaming systems, and I'm trying to decide for kids for Xmas.
Can I get Netflix through any of them? TIA.

Yea go with the one. I'm sure 360 still arnt that cheap so you might as well get the newer system. Yes it will be able to use netflix

The One will definitely be the better system out of the two

If you go with the 360,be sure to video his reaction as he learns that you got him a 360 instead of a One. He'll see the green box and then BAM - disappointment

Well, the 360 will have more, cheaper games (along with being $350 cheaper), but you're kids are likely expecting the new xbox.

This really depends on their age and what they are into. If you ask them what they want (in a roundabout way), what do they tell you? If they're age 4 - 7 they may be indifferent to the new Xbox One. In which case you might be able to save some cash and get them another cheaper game system like a 360 or even a Nintendo 3DS (or 2).
If they're fully aware of what's up in gaming right now, get them the Xbox One. Anything else and they will be disappointed. Getting a kid like that a 360 would be akin to buying someone a VCR after DVD players are becoming the norm.

Ok so I think I'm going with the One, but have I already waited too late? can't preorder anymore. Is it going to be hard to find consoles til after Xmas. Unfortunately, having a job and kids keeps me from standing in line all night long. Guess people will be reselling them on eBay for a nice markup??

Day of release should have sales pop up just like the PS4 did. You'll just have to be on the lookout.
