Finally watching GOT: Which character is most deserving of my hate?

Obviously, Jofrey is an insolent, borderline psychopathic shitstain on Westeros. But hating him is almost so easy it's just annoying that he's around.
Out of Pycelle, Cersei, Tywin, etc. who do I need to be hating the most? On the last episode of Season 2 right now (so, no, I haven't made it to the Red Wedding yet)

I have actually contemplated trying to watch this series while rooting for the Lannisters. Came away feeling too much like Barney Stinson pulling for "the real karate kid"

Joffrey and Cersei. I'm at least sympathetic to the rest of the characters in some way.

I have found that hating Cersei is more enjoyable than Jofrey for some reason. She is such a sadistic, evil ****. Bangs her brother countless times and defends it. Thoughtlessly orders executions or defends every action Jofrey makes. Emotionally abuses the shite out of Sansa. Hates on the best character on the show (also her sibling).
Meanwhile, Jofrey is so whiny and cruel that he's almost too easy to hate. He has no reasont to do what he does other than being an evil POS. Cersei, however, is motivated by the relatable quality of being a parent stopping at nothing to see their child succeed. I feel like this makes her more despicable (like the horrifically extreme version of every overzealous PTA mom).

My advice would be just to watch and enjoy. Unlike a lot of shows, most characters have at lease some good and some bad in them in GoT. Just enjoy it organically and hate the ones you feel hate for, love the ones you feel love for and enjoy the ride.
Or, just hate Catelyn. I certainly do.

I hated littlefinger for a while, but at least he is honest about what a snake he is. Something admirable about him. Plus, he did warn Ned not to trust him.

It's a toss up between Cersei and Joffrey. Sometimes I wish they were real people so that I could hunt them down and beat the life out of them with my bare hands.
