Oh, and screw the 49'ers with a splintery fence post...

LINK

I've been waiting 24 years for the karma on that to bite them in the arse, AND I frickING LOVE IT!!!!!

Some of you will never understand. When I was a kid, the Saints were pitiful. I remember being 8 and thinking that going 8-8 in 1979 was the precipice for greatness. You can't imagine what I felt the next year. The 1987 season was unbelievable and the Vikings took a huge dump on it. Subsequently, We could never break through and one of the reasons was the glad handing that seemed to go on between the refs and the 49ers as noted above.

What about when Pierre Thomas was speared in the head and knocked out in San Francisco for the playoffs??? THAT was a clear head to head shot that wasn't called.

The 49ers and their fans can all STFU. They've been on the good side of shitty calls for decades. I love that they're crying like bitches

Why would I feel guilty when I know for a fact it's the correct call?

He wasn't a defenseless receiver or qb. It was the right no call unfortunately

They're mad at Sproles too for not giving a better fair catch signal.

You see, I don't care what they're mad at. frick them! We're owed about 10 bad calls against that team.

Seems some are going back and forth. I say it doesn't matter.

I wish it was an egregiously bad call just out of spite!

We even let them have three of our possessions and threw away a more than likely eventual touchdown. And we still won..feels better to be 8-2. Hopefully by the end of the week be 9-2.

(Personal Fouls)Article 8 NFL rules(g) If a player uses any part of his helmet (including the top/crown and forehead/”hairline” parts) or facemask to butt, spear, or ram an opponent violently or unnecessarily.

Pierre did not have to be a defenseless QB or receiver for it to be a penalty. Read your rules

It was more than just Hebert's collapses.

I actually have a soft spot for him because we were atrocious before he arrived.

I can actually recall being ecstatic that the Saints took the Cowboys to the edge losing only 21-20 in 1983.

Hebert was the big reason

If we have Drew, Archie, or even Jim Everett in his prime, we go to at least one SB

Drew or Everett, of course. Archie, maybe(I suppose I saw too many loses with him).

Carl Smith and a stubborn Mora were the other reasons. They never coached like Payton. They were always looking to run out the clock.

F**k em. They had the ball with 2 minutes left to get into FG range for the win. Guess what? Our D punched them in the face.

49er fans can kiss my arse. I've hated that team since the 80s and that's why for me hearing them cry makes this win feel so good.
