When we're bad, Is it harder to watch a bad LSU offense or defense?

For me, it's harder to watch when LSU has a bad defense. Having a ferocious, run stopping, hard hitting, ball hawking defense is almost an identity for LSU. With a bad offense, I always feel our defense would bail us out and win us the game.

Give me 2011. Great defense that sets up the offense and makes them look halfway decent.

Bad offenses can't score points. You can't win a game without scoring points.

Bad offense.

Hate seeing a great defensive effort hung out to dry due to offensive ineptitude.

At least a good offense can still create some fireworks for viewers.

Way to prove a point by highlighting a team that went 13-1

Defenses win championships. The 2011 LSU defense was good enough to get us there and we would have won it had it not been a fluke year.

a bad LSU defense is so much tougher to watch. we've always been defensively oriented...The legacy of LSU football and SEC football will always be defense, with LSU it started with the Chinese Bandits.

I hate watching a bad defense....and there is that whole "defense wins championships" adage.

I would much rather watch bad offense with a good defense.

I didn't know we had to choose one. No wonder, I've watched a Miles team the wrong way, this should be less frustrating now.

I'd rather watch bad defense.

1998, 2008, 2013...at least the games can be exciting.

LSU's trademark in the history of the program is a tough defense. The fans (and myself) are happiest when the defense is good. When they're not good, we're lost as fans.

I'd say defense. We win the championship in 2011 playing anybody else in the nation, but Bama.
