Now that CFB plays a 12 game season shouldn't 11 wins be the benchmark?

for success? 10 wins is losing to bama, aTm, and losing either a bowl game or to some team we shouldn't lose to. In the days of a ten game season one loss the whole year is impressive. 10 wins today is nothing more than 3rd or 4th in the SECW.

Next year they'll be playoff games so will be 12 then?
Or how about anything less than perfection we take our coaches out back.....beat the shite out 'em.

Go ask Florida how easy it is to win 10 games.

For Alabama the benchmark should be 13-0 and for any other team who has be in top 3 recruiting in the past 5 years. Fla state is the only team that comes close to Alabama. How many teams do you know with recruiting classes in top 3 year after year? If you recruit like that and you are not in the NC every year you are underachieving.

I think it depends a lot on who the wins/losses are to.

The way this season has played out, 10 wins won't be all that impressive.

LSU at 10-3 would end up:

7-0 v. teams with losing records

3-3 v. bowl eligible teams.

That's just not very good.
