Its certainly the key to our success next year and has been over the past 10. I don't think it will be of the 2003, 2007 or 2011 caliber, but may have the pieces to be much improved and one of top in country if we find playmaker at DL and safety. I remember Florida defense in tiger stadium in 2011 being hot garbage with many young starters to one which was one of the best in country. Not too far of a reach to think that LSU could be in same position.

Without some needed changes on the staff, no.

I say no, but anything is possible. If Miles will take all charmin out of building and replace it with sand paper we may have a chance.

2007? 50 points to Kentucky and Arkansas?

Forget dominant, I'll settle for much improved after this year. Its not likely they will turn dominant, unless Johnson and Ego return with much improved games, along with development of current freshman like Bain, Gilmore, Herron, Lacouture, Bower, and Neal, as well as hopefully incoming freshman like Willis. If the latter should happen, and those players develop, we would have a chance to be very good.

Our fanbase has such a loser mentality

Isn't that what losing does?

Damn negative fans and their inability to tackle, cover, execute, communicate, teach, coach, lead, etc!

Only to the weak minded....which apparently there's no shortage of on here.
LSU has been one of the elite programs over the last 15 years or so and you losers wave the white towel at any sign of adversity. If LSU doesn't win the West every year then the program is going down the shitter.

you seem nervous that Les may not be as great as you thought. I'll just go remember the 90's
