Switching over from ps3 and the install of the game to the hard drive is taking forever. Only at 64% right now and it's been installing for 4.5 hours. This seems a little crazy. I can play campaign while install but nothing else.

I'm confused about this feature, so you have to download each game to the console from the disk then after that there is no need for the disk and you are able to play any downloaded games you have or is it like halo 4 where the download was needed to be able to play multiplayer
is there something like this on the Xbox one

No, this was a special thing where EA offered a $10 voucher for the PS4 digital version if you bought the PS3 version at launch.

They only offered the digital upgrade. Most games will be hard copy and the option of digital.

and most games require a full game install on the hard drive.

You still need the disc to be able to play the game. Most likely for piracy reasons.

Oh, you have to DL games to the hard drive? Like, the entire game?

A lot of them, not all.

Multiplat sports games seem to not being requiring installs as much.

I see...it's not a problem for me, but people who play way more than me might need to upgrade.

Yeah.

I don't play more than 2-3 games at a time, so I can just uninstall anything I am not playing.

If I could manage 80GB on the PS3, I will be able to handle the 500(ish) with the PS4.

Wait, the install had taken 4.5 hours up to that point or the download had taken 4.5 hours up to that point? Big difference.

Has anyone completely gotten Battlefield 4 to install?

I have downloaded the smaller file completely, and when it goes to install, I get the little spinning thing and it says "Installing application...", but there is no progress bar. Is that normal?
