Just sold positions after a good run, and looking to reinvest into something new. Having trouble finding some good opportunities with all the highs.

Cisco has taken a beating last two days, wondering if it's a good time to jump in.

I'm also getting the itch to sell APPL. Got in at $390 and it's creepin back up to the 52 week high. Thoughts?

ETA--This is my personal "play" portfolio. So looking for potential high reward, can take the risk since my Roth IRA, traditional IRA, and 401K are all conservative and diversified.

I think SD is a good buy.. solid quarter, new management, might take a while for them to start seeing some real jump in the stock, but I like them at $5.90-$6

Full disclosure RMTI is the only one I have a position in right now, but I've been looking at the others.

also with the ps4 launch tomorrow SNE would have been a good buy. up 11% in the last week.

it's way overpriced already though..

just got out of SNTS after riding from $8
Also rode TSRX to its buyout this year.

Solid year considering this is a hobby.

have multiple long positions with large caps, but the more recent high risk moves i've made are: HIMX, RMTI, TASR, ACAD.
added on to BA and TSH as well.

sold SDRL. didn't want to ride that one out.

ive gotten pretty invested in RMTI. its potential with Triferic could be a game changer. hopefully we will see it at $32 like SNTS

good luck all

nice one.

gave NTI and CVRR a try. made a little on NTI before it free fell. wasn't able to escape CVRR though and am holding.

just don't quite know how to handle the refiners.

ONVO down 30% today. No end in sight. Good time to buy, might take a chance at it gettin into the 7s.

I caught CHL under $52 and that was a pretty good buy.

AGNC is near 52-week low and pays a pretty good dividend (although who knows how long they can do that) - I wouldn't necessarily buy, but watch if it builds a little momentum up.

T is under $36, so it has 8% to 10% upside.

Just off the top of my head.

Just got into ACAD. Lots of buzz around a J&J buyout of the company.

Watching ONVO and SNTA very closely over next couple days.

I have been in this and MTGE for a few months. It has been a rough ride so far but I have been reinvesting dividends.

Another rough ride has been gold miner NEM and silver stock SLW.

Im not looking for much our of these stocks near term, but I dont think they are bad plays for long term investments.

AGNC has gone the opposite way of the market at large - if it stays low, you'll double your position in 6 years, just reinvesting dividends (assuming they can keep paying it.)

If I were more liquid, I might dive in now - just as a hedge (I mean, I hate buying at/near 52-week highs - that doesn't guarantee losses, but it sure makes for rough weeks/months when they come off - I recently had that with KO).

ETA: I actually took some profits today, out of a penny stock, and bought some AGNC. If that dividend just holds a couple of years longer, it is a good buy, even flat. And it was above $33 as recently as April, I got it for under $21.
