Yup we really miss Mingo, Minter, Logan, Montgomery, Reid.

Making Manziel stay in the pocket will be key.

Things to look forward to;
-Home field advantage
-Bourbon
-they only have one WR threat

Did Mills jump around with his hands in the air after each TD?

Odder things have happened

We had trouble containing Bo fricking Wallace. You think we will contain JFF?

Miles said the defense will be fixed by the TAMU game he promises!

Is that an indication that he has fixed the offence and now he is taking control of the defence.

I thought this thread was going to be about the defense.

i thought the same...guy is looking toward next year already and we got a big game left to play and obvious problems on defense

Lulz.

So our WR and Kick Return Specialist beat the crap out of our defense.

I'm not going to enjoy JFF slaughtering it.

Really not looking forward to this game. Watching the team quit in the 4th quarter last Saturday was pretty disappointing.

I'm totally with you Doc. I guess our defensive recruits at the game will either wonder why they would want to throw their hat in our ring, or (hopefully) see that virtually every position will be wide open next year.

BJ ran the Tiger defense crazy while simulating Johnny Football at practice on Tuesday. He also threw for three touchdowns. Could he have been the secret weapon against Bama?

This tells me JFF is gonna have a career day, and the tigers are in BIG, BIG trouble.

Heard from an inside source that it was three passing and one rushing in just one period (I think 15 min) of practice.

pumper logic, our D is so bad at getting pressure, it will go all the way around and stop JFF from just lighting us up....nevermind our WR threw for 3 tds.

So OBJ is Manziel's athletic equal. Solution is obvious. Move Beckham to mike linebacker (can't be worse than what we have there now) and have him shadow Manziel all game. He obviously understands how Manziel operates from imitating him in practice; it's like Method acting. Everywhere Manziel goes, Beckham will already be there. Beckham returns three picks for touchdowns, Tigers 49-3.

Obviously our defense will continue to struggle especially against A&M, but I'd like to point out this wasn't a full on scrimmage. It was situational plays probably trying to work on red zone defense.

Not that it's a good sign, but it provides a little more context.
