Of course he does. And, you'll be watching him play on Sundays for some NFL team. It makes it all the more frustrating that LSU gets a very good QB and the defense is insufficient. Previously, the defense was very good, and the offense sucked. Alabama does not have this problem.

Jacknola may be a dickhead, but what he said is hard to argue with. Mettenberger cannot check down worth a crap and when he gets locked on to a receiver, he is throwing it no matter what. Ask Ole Miss. Dickson is running down the middle of the field against Bama after OBJ's kick return and he throws to a double covered Landry. He should have had at least 3 INTs against Bama because he panicked and threw them up for grabs. I hope he succeeds at the next level, but he better get with a team that has a great line because he is a sitting duck otherwise.

And why does JJ have a better winning percentage as a starter?

Because QB winning % is one of the most overrated stats in football. If McCarron and Mett traded teams, Saturday night would have gone exactly the same, if not worse for LSU.

He has 14 interceptions in his 2 years as a starter. He's only had INT problems against Ole Miss, and he was playing injured this year.

Peyton Manning threw an interception on 2.39% of his passes at UT. Mett is at 2.3% (likely to go down) and

Players who lock on to their #1 receiver are going to throw 15+ interceptions. Every single QB, including players like Brees and Manning, have games like that.

and yet in 2 years playing against them he's completed 70% of his passes without 1 interception despite taking hit after hit after hit. \

that's what internal pressure does to a play. 4th down, they immediately blow through the guard and he puts the ball in the air for his receiver to make a play.

NFL coaches run this play called a screen when teams send blitz after blitz after blitz like Ole Miss and Bama did. Miles hates the play for some reason

I think Zach will close the season out strong with no INTs.. Need both the offense & defensive line to show up like some beast!
